Atmosphère

Atmosphère is a work-in-progress customized firmware for the Nintendo Switch.

Payloads

  • Hekate: custom Graphical Nintendo Switch bootloader, firmware patcher, tools, and many more.
  • ArgonNX: immutable payload, so you can always inject it, without caring about other payloads getting updated

Cheats

By default Atmosphère enables cheats, to disable them open /atmosphere/system_settings.ini and change dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1 to dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0.

Sigpatches

Signature patches are created to be used alongside Atmosphere for loading certain homebrew from the home menu.

Tinfoil

Tinfoil is a Switch Title Manager, can install your titles across the network, using http, https, ftp, nut, and more, and helps to manage all of your updates and patches.

System Modules

  • nx-ovlloader: host process for loading Switch overlay OVLs (NROs)
  • sys-clk: sysmodule allowing you to set cpu/gpu/mem clocks according to the running application and docked state.
  • Mission Control: use controllers from other consoles natively on your Nintendo Switch via Bluetooth. No dongles or other external hardware neccessary.
  • sys-con: custom sysmodule for third-party controller support. No man-in-the-middle required!
  • sys-tune: background audio player for the Nintendo switch

General

  • NX Homebrew Menu allow to execute homebrew apps (comes bundled with Atmosphère).
  • Homebrew App Store: a graphical frontend to the get package manager for downloading and managing homebrew on video game consoles, such as the Nintendo Switch and Wii U. This is a replacement to the older Wii U Homebrew App Store.
  • Payload Launcher: uses the reboot to payload system to launch payloads.
  • Lockpick RCM: bare metal Nintendo Switch payload that derives encryption keys for use in Switch file handling software like hactool, hactoolnet/LibHac, ChoiDujour, etc. without booting Horizon OS.
